The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) unites the insurance industry in philanthropic giving, contributing grants and volunteer service that strengthen the communities where we live and work. IICF has served as the philanthropic voice and foundation of the insurance industry for more than thirty years, providing nearly $57 million in community grants and $13+ million in volunteer service value. Through the generous support of the industry, IICF has made a meaningful impact in partnership with over one thousand local nonprofit and charitable organizations, serving our communities and neighbors in need.

What We Do

As the philanthropic voice of the insurance industry, IICF raises awareness of collective industry charitable contributions and community impact. IICF connects the insurance industry with local nonprofit organizations and communities and by doing so we:

The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation includes the Midwest, Northeast, Southeast, and Western Regions in the US, in addition to the IICF UK and IICF Canada internationally. Eleven chapters and twelve Associate Boards enable broader regional engagement.

Through regional and chapter leadership, and participation from Associate Boards, IICF awards grants and provides volunteer service to nonprofit and charitable partners serving a range of focus areas, including children at risk, housing and food insecurity, health and human services, military veterans, social mobility, the environment, disaster preparedness and relief, and more.
