The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) was born from the passion of insurance professionals to make a positive community impact. IICF strengthens the philanthropic impact of the insurance industry by facilitating collaboration, coordination, and camaraderie. Working together as a united industry, IICF helps communities and enriches lives through grants, volunteer service, and leadership.

Leadership

IICF is proud to support the industry through three major leadership initiatives, the Early Literacy Initiative, the Women in Insurance Conference Series, and Standards, Benchmarks and Measurements.

Early Learning Initiative

Through our Early Literacy Initiative (ELI), IICF has partnered with Sesame Workshop to create a free, bilingual early literacy program entitled, “Every Day is a Reading and Writing Day”. IICF’s focus is raising awareness of the importance of early literacy and distributing the “Every Day is a Reading and Writing Day” program materials to underserved children, families and caregivers who could benefit the most.
